Getting rid of fear is easier than you may think with the help of feng shui. In addition to the fear and anxiety cures addressing your inner world (check out these 4 powerful steps to getting rid of fear on emotional and mental levels), proper feng shui is an excellent way to feel more safe and secure. Here are the most important actions to take immediately:
The power position, or command position, is extremely important in feng shui. It positions you so that you can see the incoming flow of chi and protects you from behind.
If you sit with your back to the door, you will not only miss opportunities that are coming your way, you also will be unprepared and unprotected from behind—on a symbolic level you are open to attack.
Always make sure you face the door from your bed, desk, and other primary pieces of furniture like the couch in your living room. Sit as far away from the door as possible with a solid wall, high-backed chair, or large plant behind you. This will “protect your back” and give you a commanding view of the room.
A home that is physically safe and secure will assist you in getting rid of fear. Make sure you have secure handrails, night-lights, childproofing, solid furniture, etc. Keep your entrance or foyer safely lit and clutter free.
Watch out for sharp edges or corners (soften them with fabric or plants if you need to). Make sure your furniture is stable and secure and that you can move around easily. Avoid items that may make you feel insecure and unsafe like a heavy mirror over the head of your bed.
The earth element will ground, strengthen, and stabilize your space. To increase earth in your home, place things low to the ground and use heavy, solid furniture. You can also add items like gemstones, rocks, soft and nurturing objects, and art portraying earthy landscapes.
Yin enhancements like candlelight, dim lighting, and low ceilings will add a sense of calm and stability.
Place a dim, soft light in every corner to surround your space with light. It will give you a sense of safety.
Carl Jung believed that the basement represented subconscious fears and beliefs. If you want help in getting rid of fear, then make sure your basement is clean, free of clutter, and is a symbol of security, strength and order

Try to avoid bright colors. Rather, use earthy, muted feng shui colors to ground and stabilize your environment.
Poison arrows are a result of sharp edges and corners that concentrate a large amount of energy in one direction. Because of the intensity of this energy, poison arrows are considered very undesirable. When you have a poison arrow aimed at you (like from a corner of a desk or any other sharp, protruding corner) you may feel uneasy, tired, irritable, your health may suffer or you may even have bad luck. Either avoid poison arrows all together or soften them with fabric, a plant, or even a crystal or mirror.
